A large group of students attended the Trio Recognition Day at UND. Two of our DP students were asked to speak about how the outreach program has helped them navigate their path to college. Our students were the only ones to speak and did an outstanding job representing our school!
They later ran into graduates Jayden and Danica and got a pic with them.
What is Trio?
It's a federal program that links up with high schools with at risk students. The program provides mentoring, class presentations, fee waivers, and financial aid assistance. Ruth visits both the elementary and high school weekly. The point of the program is to help identify talented students who may need the extra guidance to leap to a college or trade program.

Let's give some cheers to our students. They not only work their way through the school day, but they also are busily involved in various activities and events.
