One of the 9th grade 7 Mindsets groups recently embraced this month’s focus, “The Time is Now,” by learning how to make their own Blizzards! A special thank you to Julie for generously taking the time to teach each student and for providing this experience for them. We truly appreciate her kindness and support in making this opportunity both meaningful and memorable for our students.

We "wheelie" appreciate our bus drivers! They get our students to and from school, practices, games, and events. We are so thankful for them!
If you would like to become a bus driver for Dakota Prairie, please contact either school office.

Henry Parsons recently joined the U.S. Marines. While his major is currently undecided, he is interested in a future career as an electrician.
Henry enjoys spending time fishing and being around his friends, who he says he will remember most after graduation. His friendships have been a meaningful part of his high school experience.
Henry says he most admires his Uncle Brandon, who has had a strong influence on his life. He will fondly remember Mrs. Forde always getting after him for not doing his homework.
A quote that resonates with Henry is “The best way out is through,” a reminder to face challenges head-on and keep moving forward.
If Henry had a theme song that played every time he walked into a room, it would be “Next to You” by Ole 60.

The spring season holds a variety of opportunities for students. Be sure to support our students in the many activities they are in- sports, music, spring play, etc.
Have a great week, everyone!

Dakota Prairie Elementary hosted its second annual Color Run/Walk on April 24th. The kids had a blast! Thank you everyone involved for making this run/walk a success!

Jasmine Lee plans to attend the University of North Dakota after graduation to study Elementary Education, with the goal of becoming a teacher.
Jasmine describes herself as respectful, which is evident through her interactions with others both in and out of the classroom. She says she will likely be remembered for laughing all the time, bringing positivity and energy to those around her.
One of Jasmine’s favorite high school memories was watching movies with friends during study halls, creating moments of connection and fun throughout the school day. Outside of school, she enjoys playing softball and going for walks.
Jasmine says she most admires her mom, who works hard to provide everything her family needs and serves as a strong role model.
A quote that resonates with her is “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken” by Oscar Wilde, reminding her to stay true to who she is rather than trying to fit in with others.
Her favorite teacher is Ms. McMillin, who she appreciates for always caring about her students and being someone they can talk to about anything. Jasmine also enjoys POD, where the environment is fun and engaging.
If Jasmine had a theme song that played every time she walked into a room, it would be “All of the Lights” by Kanye West.
With her positive attitude and passion for working with others, Jasmine is excited to pursue a future in education.
