The Spring Fling Talent Show is right around the corner!
Elementary student performers are asked to submit their information by April 25th.


The Air National Guard helped the juniors do some career navigating. Students were able to match up jobs related to their ASVAB score. They could also use advanced filters to find jobs that let them work remotely, independently, or even outside.

Though many students contributed to the process, a special shoutout goes to our amazing 8th-grade members who dedicated hours of extra time to make this possible. Your hard work and dedication mean so much!

Dakota Prairie Speech took the W on Saturday, April 12th at the Region 5 contest in McVille.
Dagan Slade took 1st in Impromptu and Storytelling and will be advancing to State in both categories!
Amanda Vance took 1st in EPR and will be advancing to State!
Royce Dalzell took 1st in Humorous and 3rd in Poetry and will be advancing to State in Humorous.
Dakota Estvold took 2nd in Poetry and will be advancing to State!
Hayley Rosewaren took 1st in Poetry and will be advancing to State!
Gena Hoffarth took 4th in Poetry.
In their duos:
Hayley Rosewaren and Amanda Vance took 3rd place in Humorous Duo.
Gena Hoffarth and Dakota Estvold took 1st place in Humorous Duo and will be advancing to State!
In sweepstakes, the team took home 85 points. The second-place team had 67 points.

Baseball Update: There is no Junior High baseball practice today. The Varsity/Junior Varsity games vs. Carrington have been moved to Tolna baseball field due to poor field conditions in New Rockford. The first game will start at 4:30.

Reading is a valuable tool. It improves language skills and academic performance; it boosts creativity and empathy.


The 21st Century Knight Academy kids crafted at the care center on Tuesday, April 8th. Everyone enjoyed visiting while painting wooden eggs in vivid colors! Before we left we hung some of our Easter artwork on the residents doors.


Ms. Cox's enrichment 5/6 enrichment classes participated in an educational activity that warned students of the dangers and realities of tobacco and vape products.
