Thank you to Jessica and Peggy from ND Job Service for speaking with our seniors about career readiness! They introduced resources for resumes, job searching, and paying for college. One standout program, WOIA, offers up to $16,000 in college funding for students pursuing careers from an extensive list of high-demand majors—including teaching, IT, dental assisting, engineering, airplane mechanics, culinary arts, cosmetology, law enforcement, and more! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to kick-start their career paths!

Our construction tech class had a hands-on learning experience, thanks to Leading Edge! They shared cutting-edge advancements in their machinery and even brought a Gator equipped with some impressive new tech. Special shoutout to Preston Brossart, a 2024 grad, who took Mr. Hovdenes for a spin around Petersburg to “test” out the features! 🚙💨 Students also got an inside look at how John Deere supports farmers by using GPS to locate equipment and remotely accessing tractor computers to keep things running smoothly.
