A correction to the earlier alert: We will be virtual learning at both schools today. Virtual learning will be starting at ten o'clock for both schools. Teachers will be in contact with their classes. Call Dr. Bye at the elementary or Mr. Johnson at the high school with any questions you may have.
There is no school at Dakota Prairie School District today due to the weather and icy road conditions. Students who have been picked up will be returned home. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope everyone will remains safe!
The junior high ski trip scheduled for tomorrow will now be rescheduled to a later time due to high winds and a winter weather advisory. More details will be released as we know.

Students and staff recently faced off in games of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Students practiced listening to directions, celebrating winning, accepting defeat, and being a good sport.

Glenn's bus route is running late due to bus issues. He has started the route now but if you choose to bring your students to school, please contact either school office.
Today's School Board meeting via Zoom has been rescheduled to January 15, 2025.
McVille Fire Department received a call from a concerned citizen this morning before school regarding smoke above the building. The fire department responded, and checked the building, and determined it was exhaust from one of the stacks on the roof. There is no danger to either the students or the school at this time.
