At the Grafton Girls Golf Tournament today, Nelson County took 3rd as a team. Kenley Blasey took 1st as an individual. Olivia Fossen was tied for 2nd as an individual. Congratulations Nelson County Chargers Girls Golf!
Dakota Prairie Elementary will be having school tomorrow, Friday August 30th. Everyone will need to use either the recess door or the small gym door. Please avoid the main entrance. If you need to come to the school during the school day, call the office first and we will meet you at the door.

There will be no school at Dakota Prairie Elementary on Wednesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 29 due to a sewer line break in the City of McVille. Dakota Prairie High School will have school those days. Bus times may vary so bus drivers will contact you if necessary.
JH Volleyball Practice this afternoon has been changed to Dakota Prairie High School due to water issues at the Elementary School.

Returning Student Online Registration must be done by the first day of school, August 20, 2024. Login to your Parent Account - Click on Forms - Click on Enrollment - Fill out or edit forms - Submit. This has to be done for each student(s). Thank you for your time and for your help in getting your student(s) ready for the 2024-25 School Year!

Park River Invitational: 6th place as a team, Kenley Blasey - 100 - 10th place.
North Star Invitational: Kenley Blasey - 95 - 5th place, Carson Fossen - 97 - 7th place
Yearbooks are in the offices at both school sites and will also be available for purchase during both back-to-school nights.

2023-24 Yearbooks are here! You can pick your yearbook up at the Dakota Prairie High School office. It is required that each yearbook is signed for by the student and/or parent who ordered it.
If you plan to participate in Fall Sports for the NC Chargers, you need to turn in your Physical & the Agreements/Release form prior to the start of the first practice. Forms can be picked up at DPHS or LHS.
The Nelson County Chargers Girls Golf will start their 2024 golf season August 5th at the Rock Creek Golf Course in Lakota, ND. Practice will start at 9am with Mr. Dustin Martin at the helm for his second season as coach. Girls need to find transportation for themselves until school starts up. Students must attend 4 practices with Mr. Martin to be eligible for their first golf meet. Remember to try to get your physicals done by the middle of July and give to the office of the school your student athlete attends. Registration for school has been pushed back to Monday July 29th. We are having some technical difficulties with the website.
As of 8am tomorrow, Friday, July 19th both gyms and weight rooms will be open for use.
