The Dakota Prairie 4th graders wanted to do a class project that would incorporate the 4R’s (Respect, Relationships, Rigor, and Responsibility) and lessons from their 7 Mindsets class. They wanted to give back to their community, so they came up with a Giving Hearts chore project. They would do chores to raise money for the Nelson County Health Foundation in honor of Giving Hearts Day.
The students raised $200 and were so excited to find out, with the matched funds, they raised $400.
Way to go, 4th grade!

Any students in grades 7-12 interested in joining the NC Chargers Track Team, please sign up outside the High School office. Track practice is scheduled to start on Monday, March 3, 2025.
